Centrally located private wood lot location across from the town square shopping center. You can hear the soft sounds of live music drifting from town square on saturday evenings from Memorial day to labor day. Its a nice thing to do on saturday bring your lawn chair and maybe a bottle of wine and enjoy the music. On wednesday we have a farmers market in town square fresh vegetables and plants. When you stay with us you are within walking distance of most of the shopping. 






This apartment is for large families or groups of common interest.

. The Whitefish Chain of Lake is nearby. This lodge is located near the center of Crosslake, yet is on its own secluded one acre wooded lot. Lots of space and privacy here, lots of parking, etc. Whitefish Chain of lakes consists of 14 lakes, interconnect by small boat channels. Check out WILDWOODRIDGE VACATION LODGE information on the web com, for DNR maps, lots of Crosslake area and Whitefish Chain of Lakes photos showing boat landings, boats in the lake channels, the wonderful free public access sandy beach along the Core of Engineers Dam, where the kids can wade safely, with roped off areas. Walk in the Woods in the Crosslake Park along the shores of Crosslake. Drop your boat off on one of two boat ramps, park your trailer, and get into the boat and go riding, sightseeing, fishing, swimming, water ski, or go to the Island and party it up all day and all night. There are very few pubic access resorts on the Chain. Its all very private now. But, its still easy, just stay at my Wildwoodridge vacations lodge, in one of our two home of your own type apartments, with kitchens, entertainment, most of all you need,, and trailer your boat to one of the access points around the lake. Its often better to trailer to a spot, since the Chain of Lakes is so huge, it will take you all day in a small boat, with a 10 hp motor, and you will not have enough gas to get back or have time doing anytjhing, like fishing, or other fun. The boat ramps at the Crosslake Core of Engineers are the best way to go. Pull in your boat in the morning, and take it back to my lodge in the evening. No worries about wind or water damage overnight, or losing stuff. If you don't have a boat, there is a great Bait Box, boat rental on Route 66 bridge between Crosslake, and Daggett Lake channel where you can rent almost any kind of boat you want. Use it for the day, bring it back to the dock in the evening, no fuss, they supply you with the boat, engine, fuel for the day and if it breaks they give you a new one. Cost much less than owning your own money sucking barge which sucks gas, and money year around. Been there, done that.
